Substitutions
Nut-free: Swap peanut butter for sunflower seed butter or oat butter.
No honey: Skip it if serving to kids under 1 — the banana adds enough sweetness.
Oats: Quick oats work too, but the texture will be softer and less chewy.
Boost nutrition: Add 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seeds.
Add-ins: Try mini chocolate chips, shredded coconut, or finely chopped raisins.
Storing Leftover No bake Oatmeal Bites
Fridge: Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Freezer: Freeze extra banana oat bites in a single layer, then transfer to a container or bag for up to 2 months. Thaw a few at a time as needed.
