Strawberry Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup chopped strawberries
  • (Optional) 1 tbsp maple syrup for natural sweetness

Instructions

  1. Mix the Batter:
    • In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, egg, milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup (if using).
    • Stir until smooth, then gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
  2. Cook the Waffles:
    • Preheat a mini waffle maker and lightly grease it if needed.
    • Pour about ¼ cup of batter into the waffle maker and cook for 3 minutes, or until golden brown.
  3. Serve & Enjoy:
    • Let cool slightly before serving to toddlers.
    • Enjoy as is or top with extra fruit, yogurt, or a drizzle of maple syrup.
