My toddler is loving popsicles this summer! For some reason, I can’t get him to drink smoothies a lot of the time, but I can get him to eat popsicles! So I love to come up with healthy, veggie filled popsicles for him to enjoy! These fudgesicles are super yummy, easy to make, and include a good dose of spinach! I think you are going to love them.

This recipe is actually the same recipe as my chocolate milkshake recipe, but I thought it would be super fun to make these into popsicles! They are the perfect treat to pull out on a hot summer day for my kids. I love that they are getting a helping of spinach in the popsicle as well. They are super easy to make, and lots healthier than the store bought version!

How To Make

Prepare your trusty blender because that’s where the magic happens! I love this recipe for its simplicity and ease.

Step 2: Blend the Goodness

Toss in the banana slices, cocoa powder, and the nutritious green superhero – spinach! Your little ones won’t even taste the spinach, but they’ll surely enjoy the added benefits.

  1. Nut butter- you can use peanut butter, other nut butter, or sunflower seed butter in this recipe.
  2. Milk- use any non dairy milk as you need it!


Store these delicious fudgesicles in the freezer for up to 3 months! After freezing, I usually transfer them to a ziplock bag and store them that way until they are gone.


  1. To get the popsicle out of the silicone mold, run warm water over the bottom of the popsicle until it slides loose. Alternatively, you can fill a bowl with warm water and set the popsicles in it until the popsicles come free.

Healthy Fudgesicles

Servings: 6 popsicles


  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1 tbsp nut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk


  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour chocolate mixture into a popsicle mold. Let freeze overnight.
  • Enjoy!
