Ingredients

  • 12 ounce bag of steamable peas
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Steam peas according to bag.
  • Add the peas and cream cheese to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Spread out crescent roll dough. Ensure that there are no breaks in the dough by pressing with your fingers.
  • Spread pea mixture onto the dough. You will not need all the mixture. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Starting on one side, roll the dough up forming a log. Cut the dough into 1 inch pieces.
  • Place the pinwheels on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.

Notes

Rolling Tip: Make sure the crescent roll dough is unbroken to prevent the filling from leaking out.
Serving Suggestion: Pair with a side of fresh fruit or a light salad for a complete meal.
Leftover pea mixture: Use the leftover pea mixture as a spread on toast, mix into pasta, or serve as a dip with crackers or veggies.
