While the pasta is cooling, prepare the rest of the ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil and minced garlic.
Add the halved cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella pearls, and chopped basil to the bowl with the garlic and olive oil mixture. Gently toss everything together until well combined. Add the cooked pasta to the bowl with the tomato and mozzarella mixture. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the olive oil and garlic dressing and the ingredients are well distributed.
