Keyword: Bar, Cereal
Servings: 9 bars
- 3.5 cups Cheerios
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey. Microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Stir until smooth and creamy.
In a large mixing bowl, place the Cheerios or 3 Wishes cereal. Pour the peanut butter and honey mixture over the cereal and stir until all the cereal is evenly coated.
Transfer the cereal mixture into an 8x8 inch baking dish. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to press the mixture down firmly until it is smooth and compacted.
Refrigerate the Cereal Bars for 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until firm and set.
Once chilled, slice the bars into squares or rectangles and serve.
Press firmly into the pan (use parchment paper and a spatula) so bars hold their shape once chilled.
Chill time matters: Refrigerate for at least 30–60 minutes before slicing to prevent crumble.
Storage tips: Store bars in the fridge for up to 7 days, or freeze for up to 1 month. Use parchment between layers to prevent sticking.
