Ingredients

  • 1 crescent roll can
  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 cup chopped steamed broccoli
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Open a can of crescent roll dough. Lay it out flat and make sure there are no gaps in the dough.
  • Spread a layer of cream cheese over the dough.
  • Add chopped steamed broccoli (I use frozen broccoli, which I microwaved to steam).
  • Add as much cheddar cheese as you want on top.
  • Starting at one end, roll the whole thing up.
  • Cut into 1 inch pieces. Place the pinwheels the baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes or until dough is cooked and golden brown.

Notes

After cooling completely, you can store these pinwheels in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for 3 days. You can freeze in a zip-lock bag for up to two months. To reheat, microwave for 30 second increments.
Feel free to make them your own- You can mix in chopped ham or turkey, crumbled bacon, shredded chicken, or even some finely diced bell peppers for extra flavor. A sprinkle of garlic powder or Italian seasoning can also add a tasty twist.
