Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and turns into pudding!
  • Taste the pudding and add more honey as needed for extra sweetness.

Notes

Remember, honey is only for babies 1 and older! If you are going to give it to a younger baby, use maple syrup.
Pick perfectly ripe avocados—firm green with slight give. Avoid brown or overripe fruit.
Blend until ultra-smooth—scrape down the sides to prevent lumps and get the best texture.
Taste and adjust sweetness—sweetness mellows after chilling, so start sweeter and tweak after chilling.
Store chilled—keeps in the fridge for up to 1 day. Stir before serving in case of slight separation.
Freezing tip: Freeze in popsicle molds or cups for fun frozen treats—texture will change slightly but still yummy.
