The Best Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp salted butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for about one minute, until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Romano cheese.
  • Continue cooking, stirring often, until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Remove from heat and serve immediately over pasta or your favorite dish.
