Ravioli Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 18 oz ravioli (store bought! I use Giovanni Rana brand)
  • 24 oz jar of marinara sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese
  • basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart into crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess grease and set the beef aside.
  • In a 8x8 or 7x11 baking dish, layer half the ravioli (uncooked), then half the marinara sauce, half the meat, and half the cheese.
  • Repeat these steps.
  • Cover and cook for 35 minutes or until it is heated through. Once it is done cooking, you can broil for an extra few minutes to get the golden brown cheese on top.
  • Garnish with chopped basil if desired!
