Parmesan Pea Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ditlani pasta or other small pasta
  • 3/4 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4-1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • sprinkle of garlic salt

Instructions

  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt.
  • Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions.
  • About 5 minutes before the pasta is done, add the frozen peas to the pot. This will cook the peas perfectly along with the pasta.
  • Once the pasta and peas are cooked, strain out the water using a colander.
  • Return the pasta and peas to the pot and add the butter, grated Parmesan cheese, and a sprinkle of garlic salt (if using).
  • Stir everything together until the butter is melted and the pasta is evenly coated with the cheese and butter.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
