Parmesan Pea Pasta

Ingredients
1/2
lb
ditlani pasta
or other small pasta
3/4
cup
frozen peas
2
tbsp
butter
1/4-1/2
cup
grated parmesan cheese
sprinkle of garlic salt
Instructions
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt.
Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions.
About 5 minutes before the pasta is done, add the frozen peas to the pot. This will cook the peas perfectly along with the pasta.
Once the pasta and peas are cooked, strain out the water using a colander.
Return the pasta and peas to the pot and add the butter, grated Parmesan cheese, and a sprinkle of garlic salt (if using).
Stir everything together until the butter is melted and the pasta is evenly coated with the cheese and butter.
Serve warm and enjoy!
