Easy Butter Parmesan Veggie Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup small pasta
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • frozen peas or other veggie
  • optional pepper, basil, or parsley

Instructions

  • Bring chicken broth to a boil. Add pasta and immediately lower heat until it is barely a simmer. Cooking too hot will cause the broth to boil away.
  • 5 minutes before pasta is done cooking, pour in some frozen veggies with the pasta.
  • Once pasta and veggies are cooked, remove from heat. Then, add in butter.
  • Once served, top with parmesan and other toppings. (My favorite topping is parsely!)
