Crispy Chicken Tacos

These easy crispy chicken tacos are a family favorite! Juicy, seasoned chicken cooked to perfection in the air fryer and paired with creamy slaw in warm tortillas. Great for weeknight dinners, kid-friendly, and ready in 15-20 minutes.

Ingredients

Crispy Chicken Tacos

  • 2 lbs chicken breast chopped into small pieces
  • 1.5 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 8 tortillas corn or flour

Coleslaw

  • 1 bag of coleslaw
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp sugar

Instructions

Tacos

  • Chop chicken in small pieces.
  • In a large bowl, mix all the seasonings together. Add the chicken and stir to coat all the chicken in the seasoning.
  • Air fry at 350 F for 10-15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and crispy.
  • Cook tortillas, add crispy chicken and coleslaw. Enjoy!

Coleslaw

  • Mix all ingredients together to make the dressing and then add the bag of coleslaw to the mix. You might not need the whole bag, put as much dressing on as you want.

Notes

Meal Prep: The chicken can be cooked in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days—perfect for quick taco nights.
Spice Level: Adjust the seasoning to suit your taste. For a milder version, reduce the paprika.
Toppings: Feel free to add your favorite toppings like cheese, sour cream, salsa, guac, or fresh cilantro for extra flavor!
Alternative Protein: You can substitute chicken with ground beef, pork, or any other meat for variety.
