Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Cook the chicken nuggets according to the package directions.
Without separating the individual rolls, carefully slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish.
Add the butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for about 1 minute, or until the butter is completely melted. Stir to combine.
Brush some of the garlic butter mixture over the cut side of the bottom half of the rolls.
Spread 1/2 cup of marinara sauce evenly over the rolls.
Arrange the cooked chicken nuggets over the marinara sauce.
Spread the remaining 1/2 cup of marinara sauce over the chicken nuggets.
Layer the mozzarella cheese slices over the chicken and sauce.
Place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls back on top. Brush the remaining garlic butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake uncovered for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and the sliders are warmed through.
Cut into individual chicken marinara sliders and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
